UK-only delivery and prescribing

Oxford Online Pharmacy is licensed to prescribe, sell and ship medication within the United Kingdom only. This means we can supply to UK delivery addresses only, including when you are travelling abroad as a UK resident, but we cannot dispatch to addresses outside the UK.

Who this applies to

This article applies to anyone placing an order with us. It covers two situations: customers based in the UK who want delivery to a UK address, and UK-based customers who happen to be travelling outside the UK at the time of ordering.

If you are based outside the UK and need delivery to an international address, we are not able to help. We can accept EU prescriptions written in English in some circumstances, but we can only fulfil them within the UK. If your registered address is outside the UK, we can sometimes still prescribe to you if you are a temporary visitor and you can provide proof of UK travel (such as a flight ticket and some form of UK address proof) but this is not guaranteed.

What we can and cannot supply

• We can prescribe and ship to UK delivery addresses.
• We can accept EU prescriptions written in English in some circumstances, but we can only fulfil them within the UK.
• We cannot ship medication to addresses outside the UK.
• If your registered address is outside the UK, we can sometimes prescribe to you if you are a temporary visitor with valid proof (such as a flight ticket and UK address proof). Email us so we can confirm before you place an order.

Ordering while you are travelling abroad

You need to be physically in the UK at the time of placing your order. We cannot accept orders placed from outside the UK, even if the delivery address on the order is a UK one. As a regulated pharmacy we have to be careful about location, because medication laws vary between countries and we are licensed to supply in the UK only.

If you travel often, let us know and we will note it on your account so future orders are not held up. You can do this by replying to any order email or by emailing us directly.

Common scenarios

• You are in the UK and want to place an order with delivery to your UK home address. This is fine. You cannot place this same order while you are in Spain; you would need to wait until you are back in the UK.
• You live outside the UK and want medication shipped to your home country. We cannot help with this.
• You have an EU prescription written in English and a UK delivery address. Email us a photo of your private prescription so we can confirm whether we can dispense it.
