You can check the status of your order at any time by logging into your account on oxfordonlinepharmacy.co.uk. The Account page shows where your order is in our five-stage journey, along with the order number, date, and number of items. Once your order has been picked up by the delivery partner, you can also track it directly on the Royal Mail website using the tracking reference from your dispatch email.
Who this applies to
This article applies to any customer with an order in progress. The five-stage status applies to orders placed through oxfordonlinepharmacy.co.uk.
The five order stages
Once you have placed an order, it moves through five stages on our website:
| Stage | Status | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Action required | The order needs something from you before it can progress, for example a consultation, photos, or further information requested by the doctor. |
| 2 | Clinical review | The doctors are reviewing your consultation and order. They may approve, query, or decline at this stage. |
| 3 | Dispensing | Your order has been approved and is being dispensed by our pharmacy team. |
| 4 | Packaging with delivery partner | Your order has been picked up by the delivery partner (typically Royal Mail) and is on its way. |
| 5 | Expired | The order has expired, usually because an action was required but was not completed in time. |
How to check your order status on our website
- Go to oxfordonlinepharmacy.co.uk and log in with your email and password.
- Go to your Account page.
- You will see your orders listed, each showing the order number, the date placed, the number of items, and the current stage.
How to track your parcel with Royal Mail
Once your order reaches stage 4 (Packaging with delivery partner), you can track it on the Royal Mail website using the tracking reference from your dispatch email.
- Open the dispatch confirmation email we sent you. Search your inbox for "Oxford Online Pharmacy" if you cannot find it.
- Find the tracking reference number in that email.
- Go to https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item.
- Enter your tracking reference number to see live tracking updates.
Common scenarios
- Your order is in clinical review and you want to know when it will be reviewed. The doctors work through orders in turn during opening hours; most are reviewed the same day or the next working day.
- Your order has been dispensed but you have not received a tracking number yet. You will receive a separate email with the tracking number once Royal Mail has picked the parcel up. This often happens later the same day.
- Your order is showing as "Action required" but you do not know what is needed. Check your account messages and your email; the doctor's request will be there.
- Your order is showing as "Expired". You will need to place a new order. If you are not sure why it expired, contact us.
What to do next
Log in to your account and check the current stage. If your order is at stage 1 (Action required), respond to the request shown. If it is at stage 4 or later, use your tracking reference on the Royal Mail website to follow the parcel.
